What made you pursue a Physical Therapy career?
I chose physical therapy as a career because I was lucky enough to work in a clinic and help provide care to patients. I enjoy interacting with people and helping them work toward achieving their goals. Health and wellness are an important part of my life, and I enjoy sharing this knowledge with others in the pursuit of optimizing movement. I believe that my personal values are shared with Physical Therapy profession.
What do you feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist?
Compassion and understanding are the most important qualities that anyone working in the healthcare industry can have. I believe that if you care enough about someone, then you’ll figure out a way to help them. Knowledge will always come second to compassion.
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy pursuing fitness and being outside, and am willing to try just about every sport imaginable. I also enjoy Latin, Swing, and Ballroom dancing.
