3DPT: Tell us about why you started coming to physical therapy at 3DPT.
Jayden: I had been experiencing shoulder pain for almost a year. My shoulder blade was not able to move and my body would depend on my rotator cuff to do everything. I tried multiple treatments (chiropractic, massage, etc) and they didn’t work but 3D Physical Therapy did!
3DPT: What was/has been the hardest part of your therapy?
Jayden: The hardest thing about my therapy was trying to keep up my confidence that I’d get better because of the previous treatment failures. My favorite thing to do is dance and I just wanted to be able to do what I love without pain.
3DPT: What goals do you have (in general and related to dance), after leaving physical therapy and and in the years to come?
Jayden: My main goal is to graduate high school next year and go to college to become a physical therapist! I also hope to continue dancing and be a Philadelphia Eagles or Sixers cheerleader!
3DPT: What advice would you give to another people who suffered similar injuries?
Jayden: The best advice I could give to someone with a similar injury is to never give up or lose hope. Although it might be frustrating it will always get better. Oh, and don’t forget to do your exercises at home too!!
3DPT: What is your favorite part of coming to physical therapy?
Jayden: My favorite part of coming to physical therapy is seeing everyone at 3DPT – they never fail to make me laugh and put a smile on my face. I love that my shoulder feels better but I love the family I have made there even more!
3DPT: Do you have any fun plans for the summer?
Jayden: Some of my plans for the summer are dance camp, going to Ocean City for a week with my best friend, working, and spending time with my friends, boyfriend and family.
