Hannah first came in to 3DPT Williamstown after experiencing hip pain and tendinitis prior to beginning her senior year soccer season at Williamstown Hight School. Unfortunately just a short time into her season Hannah ended up tearing her meniscus and MCL of her right knee, forcing her to miss her entire season.

From the beginning of her treatment Hannah was determined to improve and was dedicated to her PT program as well as doing what she needed to do outside of PT sessions. Despite her setbacks and disappointment of missing her season, Hannah has continued to work hard and keep herself accountable to make sure she is doing everything in her power to improve. She is always open to hearing new ideas and treatments, even if they are not her favorite (BFR!).

Hannah’s hard work has paid off and she is planning on playing soccer next year at St. Leo University in Florida!

Here’s what Hannah had to say about her journey and time at 3DPT Williamstown

Tell us about what brought you to physical therapy and how this affected your life.

Hannah:

I came to PT because of tendinitis in my hip, and just a few weeks later I tore my MCL and meniscus in my right knee. This affected me because I was unable to play soccer and I missed my whole senior season.

Tell us a little about your recovery process. What has been the hardest part of your therapy?

Hannah:

My recovery process was fairly easier than I thought, it was hard and stressful as always but I managed. The hardest part of therapy is definitely the BFR machine, but I know that it’s just helping me get stronger.

What advice would you give to other people who suffered similar injuries or going through the same situation?

Hannah:

The advice I would give is to be mentally strong and patient. It’s all worth it and make sure you do your exercises outside of PT to stay strong.

Why would you recommend 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy?

Hannah:

I would recommend 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy because it’s a great environment to be in, they really push you, plus Scoob the therapy dog is always nice to see.

What are you most looking forward to and/or able to do now that you may not have been able to do with your injury?

Hannah:

I am most looking forward to playing soccer again.
