Why I became a Physical Therapist

Going into my undergraduate degree I didn’t really have a direction. My advisor at the time offered me a connection for a volunteer experience at a local physical therapy clinic. I’d been in and out of rehabilitation myself in high school following a few injuries so I had some experience. I ended up volunteering there for 3 years and loved the experience.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist

  • Altruistic
  • Professional
  • Driven/Resourceful
  • Patient
