Why I became a Physical Therapist

After experiencing a variety of injuries, I came to deeply appreciate the role my physical therapists had throughout my recoveries. They were the first healthcare professionals to see me as more than a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms, instead recognizing me as a whole person with individual goals and needs. These experiences motivated me and inspired my desire to become an advocate for my future patients. I hope to empower them with knowledge, support, and provide the tools necessary for them to actively participate in their recovery and achieve the highest possible quality of life.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist
