Why I became an Physical Therapist
I became a physical therapist because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Through researching the field, I became interested in how physical therapy combines science, movement, and patient care to help people heal and regain their independence. I love knowing that I can play a role in someone’s healing journey and help them work toward reaching their goals. I also enjoy the opportunity to meet and get to know new people, build relationships with my patients, and learn about their individual experiences. Being able to support someone through their recovery while making a positive impact is what continues to motivate me as a physical therapist.
