Why I want to become a Physical Therapist:

I grew up playing sports ranging from basketball to softball to soccer and began playing soccer at a higher level in my middle-high school years. I started focusing only on soccer once college recruitment started when I had back-to-back ACL injuries that halted my soccer career. I had such an impactful experience with PT for 2+ years that made me change career paths due to how much I learned about the profession and myself in the process. I knew how much my physical therapist brought up my spirits and I wanted to be able to do the same for other athletes in that similar scenario and show them there is light at the end of the tunnel!

What I feel are the most important qualities in a Physical Therapist:

  • Adaptability
  • Empathy
  • Strong work ethic
  • Communication skills
  • Humility

Personal interests & hobbies:

  • Walking and playing with my dogs
  • Going to Pilates
  • Doing DIY projects with my friends
  • Watching Philly sports!
