Why I became a Physical Therapist

I wanted to become a physical therapist because of my personal journey as a runner growing up, where I experienced a couple of injuries throughout the years. I was fortunate enough to work with 3DPT when I was in high school, and it was the supportive, welcoming environment that truly stood out to me. The team at 3DPT made me feel comfortable and empowered throughout my return back to track and cross-country competition. Their comprehensive approach and positive atmosphere inspired me to pursue a career where I could make a difference in people’s lives, just like they did for me!

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist

  • Empathy
  • Creativity
  • Adaptability

Personal interests & hobbies

  • I like to spend my free time reading, watching movies (The Hunger Games is my favorite series), baking, and spending time outdoors.
  • I listen to all types of music, but have recently become a Taylor Swift fan over the past couple years!
  • I like to keep active through running and hiking, along with some weight lifting in the gym.
