Why I became an Physical Therapist
I became a physical therapist due to my personal history of sports participation and injury. I competed in athletics through the collegiate level as a lacrosse player and sustained multiple injuries throughout my career. Each time I required physical therapy, I experienced firsthand the impact it had on my recovery, performance, and overall well-being. These experiences allowed me to appreciate the value of skilled, evidence-based rehabilitation and inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy so I could help others return to the activities that matter most to them.
