Treatment Areas of Interest

My professional interest predominantly lies in the realm of sports injuries, with a specific emphasis on baseball and overhead athletes aiming to re-engage in their respective sports while striving to enhance their performance levels. I find gratification in supporting various populations keen on resuming their favored activities and maximizing their physical potential.

Why I became a physical therapist

I started my journey at Stockton University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. As a student athletic trainer during this period, I delved into the healthcare dimension of sports. It was through this experience that I discovered my true passion lay within the realm of rehabilitation. Building meaningful relationships with patients brings me immense joy. There are few opportunities as fulfilling as witnessing the entire progression of patients, from their initial stages of rehabilitation to their successful return to the life they enjoy.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist

On a personal level, I consistently place utmost importance on fostering strong relationships with my patients, ensuring this connection extends well beyond their final discharge visit. The therapist’s demonstrated care and investment play a critical role in determining the success of any rehabilitation plan. In addition to this pivotal relationship, the continual pursuit of education is essential for any physical therapist within the dynamic landscape of healthcare. The approaches used a decade ago differ vastly from current practices. Adapting and tailoring treatment plans to best suit the unique needs of each individual is an integral aspect of our responsibility.

Personal interests & hobbies

I am a die-hard Philly sports fan and find myself chatting about sports a majority of the time while in and outside of the clinic. I am passionate about golfing, and try to sneak in a round during the week if I can. I also enjoy staying active, whether that means going for nature walks or a strength training session in the gym.
