Why I became a Physical Therapist

Ironically, I always told myself I would never pursue a career in healthcare because I didn’t want to commit to additional schooling. That mindset changed after sustaining a knee injury while playing football that required physical therapy. What began as a patient experience quickly turned into a passion. I became a physical therapy aide and eventually found myself in PT school, driven by a desire to help others the same way I was helped.
