Why I became a Physical Therapist
I became a physical therapist so that I could actively help serve my community and make a meaningful impact on those around me. Helping people get back to their lives is one of the best feelings and I consider myself lucky that I’ll be able to do that on a regular basis.
What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist
I feel that empathy and the ability to listen are among the most valuable characteristics a PT can have. These skills are underutilized in the medical field and can have an immense impact on almost any plan of care. Connecting with patients and providing the support they need to help themselves is among the top abilities a PT should have
