Why I became a Physical Therapist
Throughout my days as a high school and collegiate athlete, I was able to build incredible connections with physical therapists. Anybody who has participated in athletics understands that being unable to compete due to an injury is a frustrating experience, but the right support system can totally change that mindset. Being treated by amazing clinicians cultivated the desire to learn more about my own injuries and sparked my passion to pave that same path for my future patients.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist
The most important qualities in a physical therapist are being empathetic and adaptable. Every patient has different goals they would like to accomplish during their physical therapy experience, so it’s important to create an environment that individualizes care to each patient’s needs.
