Treatment Areas of Interest:

I am passionate about working with all and enjoy working with a diverse caseload that includes post-operative conditions, balance & gait dysfunction, and sports-related injuries

Why I became a Physical Therapist:

My interest in becoming a physical therapist originated nearly a decade ago when I was a patient at 3DPT during my high school & college athlete days. I received PT services on multiple occasions; during which the 3DPT staff had a profound impact on me. I felt like I was part of a family and received a level of compassion and care that went above and beyond just treating a shoulder injury.

As I progressed through Stockton’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and gained diverse clinical experiences, 3DPT remained a constant reminder of my career aspirations and goals. Now, joining the 3DPT team as a licensed physical therapist feels like coming full circle. It represents the culmination of a journey that began with me as a patient and evolved into a passion for helping others through physical therapy.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist

The essential qualities of a Physical Therapist go beyond an extensive knowledge of the human body and movement. PTs must embody compassion, empathy, and strong active listening skills to build strong and trusting relationships with their patients. They should be adaptable and open-minded when crafting individualized plans of care to meet patients’ unique goals and needs, while also being prepared to adjust these plans as a patient’s progress unfolds. Additionally, a commitment to lifelong learning is crucial, as the field of physical therapy is continually advancing. Lastly, Physical Therapists should aspire to be the best versions of themselves, as this determination and self-awareness translates into positive outcomes in the clinic and beyond.

Personal interests & hobbies:

I consider myself an extroverted introvert. Some days I enjoy reading a good book and cuddling with my cat, Brew. On more active days, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, discovering new places, or going on nature walks (while listening to Taylor Swift of course). My boyfriend and I also spend time together on the golf course and watching Philly sports!
