Why I am pursuing Physical therapy

  • I always had a dream of working in sports in some aspect. When I was diagnosed with a rare knee condition that required surgery and subsequent physical therapy treatment, I was not sure what the future of my body would be, particularly in athletics. My experience with PT changed my life, and created my motivation to give back to others and pursue this as a career to give athletes and anyone I treat their own redemption story.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist

  • I think the most important qualities in a physical therapist are being able to provide excellent patient care not only for the impairments that they present with, but being an ally and advocate for them. Being able to build a personal relationship with our patients allows them to have trust in our care and provide the best possible outcomes.

Personal interests & hobbies

  • I played club Ultimate Frisbee at Stockton University as well as being a Resident Assistant on campus. Outside of Stockton, I enjoy watching sports, particularly Kansas City Chiefs football, going to the gym, hanging out with friends/family, and going on walks.
