Treatment Areas of Interest:

I am particularly interested in treating athletes/active individuals of all ages. I truly enjoy being a part of athletes’ return-to-sport process. Shoulder injuries are my favorite to treat.

Why I became a Physical Therapist:

As a former competitive gymnast, I’ve had my share of injuries, which resulted in me spending a lot of time in physical therapy. Physical therapy was what allowed me to return to the sport I love, which fueled my passion for becoming a Physical Therapist. My goal as a PT is to assist my clients in maintaining independence and to return to what they love, whether that be a sport, the gym, or activities of daily living.

What I feel are the most important qualities in a physical therapist:

Empathy, understanding, and compassion are just a few of the qualities I believe are most important as a PT. Being an active listener and involving clients in their rehabilitation process is the key to a successful PT/client relationship. It is important to be your clients’ biggest cheerleader and celebrate the little wins, along with the big ones, each step of the way.

Personal interests & hobbies:

I love being active, whether that is going to the gym or going for walks/hikes. The beach is my happy place, and my family and friends are most important to me. Music, especially Country music, is an escape for me.
